Renaissance-inspired Bridal Editorial

Let’s talk about the couple of years that I bridal accessory design. I was actually encouraged by a friend who did bridal design herself- she gave me several boxes of beads & trinkets that she was no longer using to get started.
My style has always been very “pretty, pretty,” but also leans into the old world aesthetics of the Renaissance and Medieval eras. And, if we’re being honest, I LOVE being able to not only be the photographer for an editorial- but creative directing it as well. I wanted this Renaissance-inspired bridal editorial to feel like you’re in a European garden somewhere in the middle ages.

Soft light & a dreamy white & green palette for the background (I intentionally got rid of most of the yellow tones in Photoshop).

There are two different photo sessions being represented here, but they’re both for my bridal line, Angela Candella Bridal.

They’re both set at The Century Inn 1794, a dreamy restaurant and event venue in Scenery Hill, PA. It’s quite literally my favorite place to do photo sessions.
