This was the photo session that truly started my career. Yes, I had done photography for years, but this was where it really took off. And it all started with a simple email to the Galia Lahav bridal company, telling them how much I loved their gowns. Next thing I knew, they were sending me their Tony gown from their most recent collection. I was absolutely in shock, but so excited. Their representative asked me to get a white horse and to do the photo session in the woods.

A horse in the woods? This wasn’t my first rodeo, and the model, Sarah, rides horses. It was the perfect combination.

We had a large team on-site. And did I mention that it was in little ole Washington, PA? Nothing big or flashy. Just an equestrian center with a beautiful horse named Brach. (Brach star, actually!) I assembled a fantastic team including a hair stylist, makeup artist, stylist, accessories, florist, furniture rentals, model- not counting the gown itself!
